A FEW KEY POINTERS TO KNOW BEFOREHAND:

  • Argentines are some of the warmest and most open people you will meet. The locals are very helpful and friendly. However keep an eye out for scams
  • SUBE card is your friend in Argentina and is available at general stores. It reduces the public transport costs by 50%
  • Always keep small change on you at all the time and look out for the money counterfeit scam
  • While the meat on offer is a non-vegetarian’s delight, finding great veg options can be a bit of a task
  • Things in Argentina start late, end late. People on this continent are laid back in general and like to take their time
  • Avoid demonstrations in Buenos Aires. While they happen sometimes and seldom get violent, it’s definitely not where you want to end up on a trip

Preferably take taxis at night, an uber would be even better.

Buenos Aires

You will be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel in your private cab. After freshening up, a tour of the Argentinian capital of Buenos Aires awaits us. On this City Centre Tour in the afternoon you get a historic and political perspective of the city, starting from the National Congress and walking the grand boulevard of Avenida de Mayo, with its architecture and sites, revealing the most glorious and terrible periods of their history. Meet the famous characters of Evita Peron and Pope Francis, their biggest achievements and cultural struggles. We will finish in Plaza de Mayo, heart of BA and city-centre since the colonial period, the place of expression of the saddest and happiest moments in Argentina’s history. End the day with a traditional tango show in Buenos Aires during this evening outing at El Viejo Almacenand sipping unlimited drinks from the bar while you watch the dancers make magic onstage.  (Overnight in Buenos Aires)

Buenos Aires

The historic Buenos Aires Zoo, which has re-opened as an interactive 21st century eco-park, will be the premier attraction on the second day.Offering visitors a more educational and fulfilling experience, its perfect for a day trip. The park entrance is limited to 2,000 people per day. Feeding animals is not permitted. Close to the entrance in Plaza Italia is an area with ducks, maras, peacocks and other species that wander freely in an area that recreates a natural habitat of ponds and pasture. The second space located on Avenida del Libertador is named "El Estanque" or the pond, and has more than 2,000 examples of trees and shrubs and 200 native species. Here new paths have been created and artwork from the former zoo has been restored, including fountains and sculptures. (Overnight in Buenos Aires)

Bariloche

We’ll transfer to Bariloche, also known as the Switzerland of South America on the third day. In tour of downtown Bariloche , the marvellous Nautical Club and the Melipalneighborhood set the ball rolling. NahuelHuapi Lake and San Eduardo Chapel, Puerto Pañuelo follow suit.Next stop in the day isthe marvellous Cerro Campanario, overlooking Patagonia's gorgeous Lake District, it stands more than 1,000m above the town of Bariloche.Parque Municipal LlaoLlao, filled with well-marked hiking trails and stunning natural landscapes brings an end to our walking tour. We head to the Cerro Otto cable car from here on to reach the Cerro Otto summit and take in the breath-taking view of Bariloche. (Overnight at Bariloche)

Bariloche

Saddle up for an unforgettable horseback riding adventure and spend the morning on a traditional estancia (ranch). After learning the basic horse-riding techniques,we get to put our skills to the test on a scenic 2-hour trail ride through the mountains and lakes of the Andes. Keep your eyes peeled for condorspink flamingos, black-necked swans, guanacos, rheas and deer throughout this picturesque trail as the guide will tell us about the rich biodiversity in the area. Back on the ranch, tuck into a delicious asado (barbecue) lunch and make the most of the open bar, before returning to your hotel. (Overnight at Bariloche)

Iguazu

“My Poor Niagra!” American President Roosevelt exclaimed when he took in the Foz De Iguazu in all its glory. If you thought it couldn’t get any better than in Bariloche or Buenos Aires, get ready to be proven wrong. Iguazu is easily one of the most popular attractions in the whole of South America and if there’s heaven anywhere on Earth, it is this place. We’ll also take the Boat ride situated in the area for a duration of 1 hour as part of the Foz De Iguazu package, getting an opportunity to soak in the falls up close.

Iguazu

Keeping the Falls going, we’ll cover the Parque Des Aves, setting up a date with the South American wildlife. Marco Das Americas, the point where Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay merge into one is the next main attraction which gets flocked by a huge amount of tourists year around. Rest of the day will be spent exploring the vast area encompassing the falls, laced with a plethora of flora and fauna before leaving for the hotel.(Overnight in Buenos Aires)

Iguazu

On the last day you’d be transferred to the Iguazu airport, before reaching Buenos Aires, based on your flightschedule based on day 6 night or day 7 early morning.
