Windhoek

You will be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel in your private cab. Join the group for an Ancient San Skills tour where you learn some of the skills passed down by the ancient San (Bushmen) tribe. It’s a unique opportunity to interact with the world’s oldest cultural group and learn more about how they survived in inhospitable desert environments.

Windhoek

Today travel to Etosha National Park, stopping at Otjiwarongo for a light packed lunch. Enter Etosha National Park through Anderson Gate. Enjoy a leisurely game drive through the Park on the lookout for predators and unusual Etosha wildlife sightings.

Windhoek

Depart for a sunrise game drive in Etosha National Park. Return to camp for breakfast and then head out again to spend more time exploring the vast wilderness region. The afternoon is spent visiting the iconic Etosha Pan and continuing on a game drive in search of the Big 4. Arrive at Okaukuejo late afternoon and leave Etosha National Park as the sun is setting.

Swakopmund

Drive through the communal lands of Damaraland, stopping at the Ugab River Bridge to visit the beautiful Herero ladies who run a small arts and crafts centre. Arrive late afternoon in the quaint seaside town of Swakopmund. Book into your accommodation and spend the last few hours of the day exploring this historic town on foot.

Sossusvlei

Today join the group for one of the many optional activities on offer in Swakopmund. This could be quad biking, sand boarding, a dolphin cruise or a scenic flight along the Skeleton Coast spotting ancient shipwrecks. Leave Swakopmund at 12h00 and drive to a desert safari camp near Sesriem. You’ll drive via Kuiseb Pass and Gaub Pass, stopping to stretch your legs and take photos at the Tropic of Capricorn Crossing.

Surrounds

Today depart to explore the major attractions of Sossusvlei. First stop is Dead Vlei which is renowned for its ghostly bleached, cracked clay landscape and skeletal camel thorn trees. In the background are the famous Namibian Red Dunes which change colour as the sun rises and sets.

Windhoek

Today you go to Solitaire which is a wildlife sanctuary for endangered cheetahs. They are orphaned or injured cheetahs that have been rescued but cannot be released back into their natural habitat for various reasons. The tour departs for Windhoek, with a brief pitstop at Bullsport Guest Farm and Rehoboth. Arrive in Windhoek late afternoon. After that you are dropped at the Windhoek International Airport.
