Take a 1.5-hour tour of Edinburgh Castle and hear stories of one of the world’s most heroic and bloody national histories. Enjoy panoramic views over Edinburgh and learn about the kings, queens, and soldiers that lived in the castle. Edinburgh Castle dominates Scotland's capital city from its great volcanic summit, and its story has helped shape the nation's story: battles and sieges were fought over it, royalty lived and died within its walls, and countless generations have been inspired by it. Learn about the many Scottish monarchs it has sheltered, including Queen Margaret (later St Margaret), who died here in 1093, and Mary Queen of Scots, who gave birth to James VI in the Royal Palace in 1566.
Head on to a full day tour and experience some of the most dramatic scenery the Scottish Highlands has to offer. Spend time at mysterious Glencoe and see the varied landscapes of the Scottish Highlands: mountains, bogs, moors, green hills, lochs, and more. Stop in small, quaint villages nestled beneath the mountains. Spend a few hours at Loch Ness watching for Nessie, taking a cruise, or exploring the ruins of Urquhart Castle.
