Key attractions of Venice
You will be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel in your private cab. Next, you’ll be covering the Key attractions of Venice by foot which will take you through sites like Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square, Bridge of Sighs, Doge’s Palace.
Murano, Burano and Torcello Islands
The morning we will head straight to the Murano, Burano and Torcello Islands. We will cruise to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello in the Venetian Lagoon. The most famous of the Venetian islands, they are known throughout the world for their picturesque scenery, handicrafts, and history. After this, we will reach Florence by train and check-in at the hotel in Florence.
Florence Duomo and Dome and Pisa Visit
This day we will cover first the Florence Duomo and Dome, here we will explore the extraordinary monuments that comprise Florence's Grande Museo del Duomo. This includes a visit to the top of Brunelleschi's Dome and also Giotto's Bell Tower. Both offer amazing views of Florence. Next, we will go to the wondrous “Leaning Tower of Pisa”. It is a freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its nearly four-degree lean. You will also visit the Cathedral / Duomo.
Vatican City and St. Peter’s Bascilica
This day you begin your journey by moving to Rome from Florence through train ride and then you’ll check in to your hotel. After this, we shall visit The Vatican which is a city-state located in the heart of Rome. The Vatican City is world-famous as the center of the Roman Catholic Church. We shall also go inside St. Peter’s Basilica, and buy a ticket for climbing the dome (optional, at additional cost), or just admire St. Peter’s square.
Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palantine Hill
In the morning we’ll visit the marvelous “Colosseum of Rome”. The Colosseum built between 72 AD and 80 AD was the largest amphitheater ever built. Observe what remains and imagine the ferocious fights between man and beast as you stand in the elliptical arena. This is comprised of 4 levels and was once able to seat up to 73,000 spectators. Your ticket will also include entrance to Palatine Hill, which is a must-see sight for those visiting the Eternal City.
Airport transfer
Today is the end of the trip and you’ll be transferred to the airport from your hotel by a private cab.
