Dambulla Cave Temple
Today after the breakfast, you'll be transferred to Dambulla where you will visit the famous Rock Temple dating to the First Century BC. The caves of Dambulla sheltered the King Walagamba during his 14 years of exile from Anuradhapura. When he regained the throne he built the most magnificent of Rock Temples to be found on the Island.
Climb Sigiriya Rock fortress in the Sky and Kandy City Tour
Today proceed to Sigiriya which is home to the 5th Century ‘Fortress in the Sky” which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the fortress. After that proceed to Kandy, the hill capital is another “World Heritage Sites". Then head to the Royal Botanical Garden 147 acres in extent; Started in 1374 as a pleasure garden of the Kings of Gampola and Kandy. There are more than 4,000 species of trees, plants and creepers. In the Evening, visit Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic.
Pinnawala Elephant orphanage
Today head to Bentota and in-route visit the Pinnawala Elephant where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now.
Kosgoda Turtle hatchery and Boat ride in Madu Ganga
Today we'll head to the Kosgoda Turtle hatchery where you can see five species of turtles. This Hatchery alone has released more than 1,750,000 young turtles to the sea. Post that take a boat ride on the 915-hectare Madu Ganga Estuary is connected by two narrow channels to the Randombe Lake, forming a complex wetland system encompassing 64 mangrove islets.

Historical Rumassala Mountain and Jungle Beach Visit
Today you will proceed to Galle, a beautiful colonial town along the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka is a city that cannot be missed. Galle is popular for the 300 year old fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will visit the Rumassala mountain which features in the Ramayana, as the home of the beautiful Queen Sita, hidden in the jungle nearby. A temple and statue dedicated to Lord Hanuman can be found adjoining the Peace Pagoda complex at the edge of Rumassala.
